MHE BUSINESS FOR SPORTS

COURSE ONE: ENGLISH FOR FOOTBALL (THE GAME/THE BUSINESS)

MHE BUSINESS FOR SPORTS

MHE BUSINESS FOR SPORTS: ENGLISH FOR FOOTBALL is a short course aimed at professionals working in the football field.

If you are an agent, administrator, player, coach or journalist who wants to speak convincingly about the game in English, this is the course for you.

The course is not a general English course but a more focused one. It focuses exclusively on the language of football.

What are the correct terms to describe a goal or sponsorship deal? How do you use the key sports-related verbs correctly? How can you describe a move, a transfer or an injury more fluently?

As I mentioned previously, I’ve designed this course for involved in football professionally. In addition, the course works well for those who are studying a Sports Management/Administration Masters.

Here is how the course breaks down. I divide it into two parts: the game and the business.

THE GAME

Part One: The match.

Part Two: Tournament football

Part Three: Fitness

Part Four: Discipline

THE BUSINESS

Part One: Transfers

Part Two: Ownership

Part Three: Sponsorship and Commercial

Part Four: The Media

To complement the course, I send a monthly email with exercises and much more.
